Business Temporary permit and Blue Card

1) Business Temporary permit

The request for Business temporary permit is deposited at Police for foreigners in Slovak language, you shall attach and have:

valid passport,
2 photos (3×3,5 cm)
estrait of Commercial register or trade license
Criminal record of the country where you are citizen, and from the countries where

You had the residence for the last 3 years for more than 90 days

financial guarantee for your stay
financial guarantee for business for limited liability company ( s.r.o.)

The police will make a decision about your business temporary permit in 60 days, max. in 90 days from the day of deposit of request for Business temporary permit. 2) Blue Card is a type of residence issued to third country nationals for the purpose of highly qualified employment in Slovakia. The basic requirement for Blue Card is higher professional qualification in the form of university education. Blue card entitles you to enter, reside and work in Slovakia, to travel abroad and back.

When preparing your request for Blue Card, your future employer must report a job vacancy to the Labor office locally competent according to the place of work, at least 30 working days before applying for the Blue Card.
